Pretty excited today as Devil May Cry 5 officially launches on consoles in the UK. As a long time fan of the series I am looking forward to getting stuck in on this one.
For those of you who haven’t played, I seriously suggest picking up the HD Collection which includes the first 3 DMC games. Combat is fast paced hack and slash with a major emphasis on combos. The soundtrack always fits the dark yet inviting world in which Dante one of the main characters roam around.
In this installment you have three characters to play as. Fan Favourite Dante returns to many fans delight. Nero the hero from DMC4 also makes a comeback. Newcomer V brings a new twist on the combat side of things where you appear to attack with a cane and some sort of summons to execute combos to your enemies which makes it have a kind of more tactical edge to gameplay. As in previous installments Dante and Nero return with their swords, guns and abilities that have become trademark. Neros arm now appears to be customisable from what I have seen in trailers.

Take the Game in Vain
